Dear All,

This is a thank you letter to all those who stood by us in the darkest times. Words, art or creativity have no measure to express how much we value you, your presence, your support and encouragement throughout our beginning and to where we are going now. 

To my beloved Weaver of the Celestial Sky, who makes all things possible in His time, there is nothing to do except gasp in awe, praise and honor you in all that we do. To the kindest heart who has quietly supported us selflessly and unobtrusively in every version—we see, feel and love you. To Shruti Sharma @shrutiscapes, thank you for being there from the dreaming of IGP, for listening for hours to our not yet realized ideas and for encouraging us to go full steam ahead when we had doubts at the start. To Miriam Otto @miriamo77, thank you for enthusiastically participating in every initiative, actively being a part of every transformation without hesitation, for inspiring us to be more in so many validating ways and for sacrificing so much of your time and energy to humbly do even the most smallest of tasks. To Ismet Diab @shespeaksyoursilence, you came to us when we began IGP and we thank you for being an integral part of our growth, for motivating and supporting our journey through every storm.

Though we had started the Translations of Hope (TOH) back in 2018 as a project to help the Food & Though program @we_together_lovehosted by Jared Presser @forget_it42, we were thrilled that a group of dedicated mental health advocates volunteered to help us to create a community during the pandemic that reached out to those struggling by bringing kindness, a beacon of light and encouraging the voiceless to speak. Special thanks goes to Miriam Otto, Ismet Diab, Talitha Doss @colourmecrazy30, Shruti Jaykumar, Nishadi Thantrige @asmyheartbeatson, Balaji V @balajiv5892, Priscilla Dias, Ash Laperle @ashgypsymusic, Timi Jolaoso @creozoe & Arun Chandra. This is why we are going to have one anthology theme related to MH every year starting in 2024. Even though we eventually made the decision to dissolve it as a community because some of the members had to move on to other ventures, I want to especially thank Miriam Otto @miriamo77, Ismet Diab @shespeaksyoursilence and Shruti Jaykumar @soulful_ballads for still being willing to go on because through all of you, we realized how important it is to keep spreading awareness about it.

The Our Earthians Community Group was created as a name to include all our Ink Gladiators, wildflowers on Instagram or author stars in the Celestial Sky. We are immensely grateful for you. Thank you for giving us so many reasons to keep existing. A special thank you to the authors—Miriam Otto @miriamo77, Linda Lokhee @lindalokheeauthor, Timi Jolaoso @creozoe, Lorenza Palomino @godzillionloveandlight, Sharron Green @rhymes_n_roses, Shruti Sharma @shrutiscapes, Reena Doss @reenadossauthor, Emma Major @emmuk74 and Ismet Diab @shespeaksyoursilence, we are delighted that you trusted us with your manuscripts and supported IGP’s beginnings.

To family and friends who have supported and followed us by visiting our page, watching our stories and resharing our posts, we thank you so very much because thoughtfulness is an often underrated gift to receive in times of adversity.

We are filled with gratitude when we look back and see who built the foundation with us even when things were difficult. Thank you for guiding, protecting and helping our ship on the wild ocean to safer tides.

We create with our imagination, build with our hearts and love with the energy of our souls. We crash into everything with all that we are and that is why sometimes, we have to slow down, allow the new to grow before the next great adventure.
