LOGO

CIRCLE: The logo is enclosed within a circle which indicates three aspects: 1) the importance of nourishing, supporting and connecting with one’s inner circle, 2) maintaining personal boundaries and 3) the infinite creativity that exists in what is past, in the new and what will evolve in the future.

SWORD: The sword was used to signify the cross of suffering and painful battles. Each edge of the cross represents powerful weapons that can rescue you from the most terrifying situation/s. They are—1) Hope, 2) Faith, 3) Love–in Christ’s victory of the cross, which can 4) overcome the Impossible, yes, even death. [Luke 1:37].

SUN: The Sun symbolises the greatest hope we have—the ressurection of Jesus Christ. It is a representation of his Light leading and guiding our uncertain path ahead with His certainty. The Sun also helps us measure the 24 hour cycle of the Earth and connects us to time zones all over the world—night and day.

HELMETS: Not only does the Italo-Corinthian helmet ( galea or marten ) resemble a mask but it was originally worn by great warriors in ancient Greece and Rome to identify with each other and protect their head while in the thick of battle. The three art elements of the helmets represent the Holy Trinity which can also be seen as the armor of God. The 13 sunrays over each of the helmets were created
to honor—The Miracle of The Sun ( the date of the event ) and The Last Supper ( Jesus Christ and his 12 disciples ). The very deep, symbolic and powerful imagery of mirrors and what they represent—the dark ( what is unseen ), the shadow ( what is hidden ) and the light ( what is seen ) are a culmination of who we are, how we choose to express their voices ( writing, poetry, spoken, art, photography, music & creativity ) and why we speak with them to everyone.

STARS: 26 stars ( 13 on each side ) refers to the gematric number of the sum of Hebrew characters “YHWH ( Yehowah / Yahweh )”, unconditional love and 26 alphabets ( that also represents our Ink Gladiators with different names from different parts of the world and with a combination of labels). It signifies the fortitude to face trials and tribulations with courage, represents peace, harmony, joy and the basic goal to build something with lasting benefit to the community.

QUILL: The quill is used to signify the responsibility of words. Though a pen is mightier than the violence of a sword, imagine the possibilities if you can brandish that sword you use in battles to write words of immense value. It becomes an incredible gift meant to touch hearts, revolutionise minds and inspire souls all over the world as ashes transform into the multicolored fire wings of the elemental Phoenix. [ Luke 1:37 ].

SHIELD: The shield was used to create a significant motif symbol that represents the strength, courage and ability of the warrior to protect the weak, the defenseless as well as provide security for oneself during any battle.

INK: Blood when dried looks like the colors of burnt sunrises and sunsets. These particular colors were used to indicate new beginnings from endings, to encourage dreams from wounds encountered in wars and to remember how this ink is uncommonly rare because it is used from the pain of devastation, the numbness of depression and the agony of disastrous endings in order to make room to give kindness, share loneliness and meaningful hope to others.
