MASQUERADERS
For Mental Health Matters

Masqueraders is a multilingual zine publication series that encourages the community to empathise with mental health matters by bringing more awareness about its layers.

The Need For Introspection

Translations Of Hope by its very nature is not just about speaking up for others who are struggling in the dark, but also to honor those who actively transform their pain with their gifts into places of light for others, despite not having a strong circle of support.

If a past version of yourself or someone you know had been through seasons where their period of agony, injustice, and sorrow was minimized, ignored, and where people chose to believe gossip, projections or even their own justifications for cruelty towards them, then this literary journal encourages your voice to speak up for them.

The Masqueraders is a literary journal built specifically for the community, what they wish to say, and open all year long.

IGP is a Voice, Language, & Translator Protector

Our themes change depending on our timeline of publication releases, so if you want to be part of this, submit your work as yourself or under an anonymous name or moniker. Don't be afraid. IGP has specialized over the years in:

  • Protecting the voices of those who wish to remain unidentified but seen, read, and understood.
  • Highlighting the work of those who want to be known for their public voices, but not their personal ones.
  • Featuring the voices/names/faces who wish their work to be seen, heard, and felt fully, but to let their private lives stay private.

Submit Your Work

Your voice matters, and this is why we have many publishing opportunities across IGP initiatives—because some stories ask us to care in the ways we were born to give back to others who need it the most.

The Submissions Program

Empathizing With Purpose-Oriented People

If you are trying to remove the blinds that cover people's hearts to understand those who were diminished, wounded, and hurt, then remember: your writing, language perspectives, and translations give them a view that they realign with so that what the truth is can remain and what is false can return to those who started it.
