A Bottle Of Sand began years ago with a simple, endearing tradition. Whenever colleagues at the founder's first job traveled the globe and asked what she wanted, she made a singular, humble request: "Can you please bring back a bit of sand from the country you visit?"
That tactile connection to distant lands soon evolved. While working as an account manager at a professional post-production media company, the founder befriended global linguists—with no idea at the time that they would eventually connect with her on Facebook.
Later, while freelancing at other media jobs, she noticed their immense talent. Inspired by the photographs they shared about their daily lives—and finding that they deeply resonated with her words—she began curating their work.
