MOODY MAGS

Moody Mags is our intentionally designed collection of stationery journals, diaries, and notebooks sheltered under the Clouds Bookshelf of The IGP Library. Created for writers, artists, and creatives alike, this line of physical pages makes room for every single mood you experience on your journey, serving as a dedicated space built to honor the changing seasons of your inner world.

For us, a stationery book is much more than just bound paper; it is a physical sanctuary. It is the texture of a blank or ruled page waiting for a stray thought, the satisfying drag of a pen or brush, and the grounding scent of a new beginning. To active minds, these books feel like safe containers for the soul—tangible clouds where raw emotions, rough sketches, and unpolished ideas can land without judgment, yet still be reshaped or transformed later on. At IGP, we believe these cloudy moods are essential for harnessing each record of an Ink Gladiator’s journey.

Located at A Bottle Of Sand—our dedicated flagship stationery zone for celebrating visual creativity of all kinds—Moody Mags brings these diaries, notebooks, and journals to life, seamlessly merging imagination with visual themes, artistry, and the written word.

Why "Moody"?

This collection is called Moody because it bravely deals with emotions, feelings, and reflections. It holds space for everything that is deeply felt internally or observed in the world around us. Rather than just blank pages, these books are direct invitations for:

  • The Pages: Collections of Journals, Diaries, and Notebooks intentionally structured to hold your deepest reflections, sharpest insights, and random scribbles to preserve your unique inner world, where curious exploration becomes a safe haven to map out your thoughts without boundaries.
  • The Atmosphere: These Clouds also include a beautiful addition of curated quotes from members of the community that are categorized under Sunbeams (happy feelings), Starbeams (insightful epiphanies), and Moonbeams (life lessons), where emotional clarity gives you room to unpack your deepest feelings, stormy moments, and heaviest tides.
  • The Water: While Clouds represent the greater overarching collection, the distinct water under each emotion form paths known only to the one who selects, preserves, and reopens their selected book years later, so that the creative wisdom gained becomes a canvas that gives you the courage to question what is alongside the imagination of what could be.

Story Behind "Mags"

The second half of our name holds a deeply special place in our hearts. "Mags" is a loving tribute to Maggie, the beloved owl from The Pickleton Universe.

Maggie was first born in 2013, brought to life after a pivotal life incident demanded her creation. Her spirit was truly shaped between 2016, 2017, and 2019 during a stay in a room overflowing with stuffed, creative, and decorative owls—a thoughtful gesture by a host that completely melted the founder's heart. Following years of evolution, story drafts, and various sketches post-2019, her final design was officially locked in. Maggie's name came a bit later, between 2021 and 2022, inspired by a close friend’s absolute go-to craving for Maggie noodles while the founder shared a space with her during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Since then, Maggie has had legendary travels across The Pickleton Universe. Her profound care for its vibrant characters and the firm, no-nonsense advice she offers to our children's literary worlds are the very reason this space grew, arrived, and continues to journey forward for an adult's inner child. Every book in this collection is published in tribute to who she chose to be. Maggie proved that creative work becomes beautifully designed when we look after a big, generous heart—especially one that has worked so hard to look after everyone else on her path.

SUBMIT YOUR QUOTES

Though the collection is still anchoring its final details for launch, Moody Mags is crafted specifically for the individual and can be fully utilized by anyone. It shares its main home with those who have submitted their short sentences, micro-poems, and quotes—dually acting as an interactive epigram anthology collection.

Do you have quotes that belong in our next batch? We are always looking for authentic voices to join our collections. If you do, visit our centralized submission gateway at The Prism Forum to see our range of open creative adventures and learn exactly what you can submit to the Moody Mags collection.
