We've Got You
Welcome to We’ve Got You, an exclusive publishing program under the A Hand To Hold initiative. We are a dedicated, highly selective press looking for serious, passionate, and deeply creative new or established authors who are ready to take the next step in their publishing journey with a publisher that truly has their back.
One of the foundational reasons we created this specific option is to ensure that authors who genuinely want to be part of our bookshelves—or those who truly cannot afford the standard, rising costs of publishing—have a dedicated space to submit their work.
Part I. The Preparation Requirements
Before drafting your pitch, ensure your project meets our exact technical, professional, and creative standards:
• Manuscript Length: Your project must be 30 to 40 pages of main content in a .docx format. This page count strictly excludes external filler pages (such as the dedication page, table of contents, blank pages, etc.).
• Media Assets: If your manuscript contains photography, art, or calligraphy, you must provide a clean, downloadable link (preferably Google Drive) to the high-resolution images.
• Allowed Mediums: We welcome creative versatility. Content can consist of essays, poetry, stories, lyrics, quotes, photography, or art/calligraphy.
• Logistics: Authors must provide their own ISBNs, title, and/or subtitle. A brief author bio, synopsis, dedication, and acknowledgments page must also be prepared. It does not have to be perfect at this stage—just ensure the main points are covered.
Part II. The Submission Cycle
We operate within a strict, highly controlled intake window. Submissions sent outside of this designated time-frame are not monitored.
• Submission Window Opens: August 19th 2026 at 12:30 PM PST
• Submission Window Closes: September 13th 2026 at 12:30 PM PST
• The 24-Hour Exclusive Pass (2027 onwards): Intake occurs strictly on August 23rd, opening at 12:01 AM PST and closing at 11:59 PM PST. This gives serious authors a full year to deeply refine their books, perfect their pitch, and submit calmly on the designated day.
Please Note: Any emails received before the opening time or after the closing time will automatically be directed to our spam folder and will not be reviewed.
Part III. Crucial Policy on Alignment, Capacity & Boundaries
Our selection process has transformed into a highly selective framework. We will select 1 to 3 (or more if exceptionally unique) manuscripts from this intake pool to be published in the upcoming year.
• The Alignment Rule: If a manuscript does not align with our vision, our ethos, or our publishing framework, it will not be accepted. We reserve the right to pass on submissions that do not meet our alignment standards. In some cycles, we may choose not to select any manuscripts at all if the right fit is not found.
• The Production Timeline: For selected works, the formal publishing of the manuscript can take place anywhere between immediate release to within the next two years.
• Professional Boundaries: We operate with finite resources. We will not engage with authors who require more time, energy, or resources than our structured framework allows. We strictly reserve the right to withdraw our sponsored support immediately if a baseline of deep respect for our operations, care, and work is not honored.
• Our Response Protocol: Please give us three months post-deadline to fully review all submissions. For manuscripts we decide not to publish, we will send a courtesy notification email if our capacity at that time permits, allowing you to quickly pivot and apply elsewhere.
Part IV. The Advantages
• Publisher of Record: All final files are handed directly back to you to completely manage, control, and own.
• Zero Cost to Submit: Submissions are entirely, 100% free.
• Cost to Publish: Your publication is fully sponsored by IGP at no cost to you. There is absolutely no catch, except to be added to our shelves, have a dedicated book page, an author page, and—if your project is lucky—a customized book trailer too.
Part V. Missed the Deadline?
If you miss this current intake window or your work is not a fit for this specific initiative, you can apply for The Stargazing Voyage.
This is an even more beneficial and flexible choice, as it expands your opportunities by allowing for three separate manuscript submissions.
