The Justice Journal
What is a Performance Still Journal?
A Justice Series Collection
A performance still journal is a revolutionary publication format dedicated to exploring the truth of a concept, reality or hidden patterns through woven story snippets.
Within Our Earthians Community Group (OECG), The Justice Journal represents our themed Community Journal format. Unlike the Things That Matter Journal where one author weaves a tapestry of 21 perspectives through one voice, this chapbook series acts as a tapestry that weaves together performance stills into a powerful collective narrative that reveals a single story. It offers a dedicated space for writers, artists, and creatives to speak for those who can't—no matter the age, background, or nationality—to use one's understanding of events, what was witnessed, and to examine human injustice to make sense of a world that faces war, inequality, and other struggles.
Built on the belief that many voices can heal the world through words, art, or other creative forms, it is designed to encourage the world of many communities to choose the truth through their own experiences with injustice.
