Lamps

Collaborative duet books where two voices merge to create light, trust, and shared resonance.

Lamps are OECG’s collaborative duet books—small vessels of light co-written by two individuals. Each one is born of trust, resonance, and a willingness to walk side by side. Lamps are spaces where friends, strangers, mentors, or soul kin merge voices into a single creation, woven with honesty, courage, and care.

Because a Lamp is a vessel of light held between two. Two voices can spark what one cannot, and shared light burns steadier than a solitary flame. Each Lamp is a reminder that we light the path best when we walk together.

Lamps honor duets of truth and resonance. Accepted works include:

  • Poetry in dialogue or response
  • Letters exchanged across time or space
  • Prose reflections woven into one voice
  • Visual art, calligraphy, or photography presented in tandem
  • Performance stills paired with words

Ideal for long-form co-authored manuscripts (30–40 pages) and deeply aligned partnerships of any kind.

Some duos work in silence across distance, others sit side by side. Voices may merge or remain distinct, complementing each other. OECG may offer light editorial guidance, helping polish without dimming the creators’ truth. Each Lamp is carried slowly and intentionally until it shines bright enough to guide others.

Lamps are created through an annual open call or by personal invitation. Writers, artists, and creatives are invited to submit whenever a new Lamp collection is announced. This keeps submissions intentional, curated, and aligned with the collaborative spirit of the shelf.

Submission Requirements:

  • Finished or draft manuscript (30–40 pages)
  • Co-author bios, social media/website (optional)
  • Landscape cover image (original or rights-secured)
  • Short synopsis (3–7 sentences)

Yes. Authors may publish under their real name, a pseudonym, or remain anonymous, according to comfort and safety.

Lamps prioritize shared light, thoughtful collaboration, and collective dignity. Accessibility, inclusion, and community well-being guide all editorial, design, and publication decisions. Every Lamp is a vessel of respect, not a commodity.

Together, Lamps illuminate the power of collaboration, showing how two hearts and minds can shine as one.
