Bookshelves
A weaving of voices—each book a tapestry of up to 21 perspectives—responding to the world with care, clarity, and meaningful storytelling.
Tapestries is a curated umbrella shelf that holds multiple chapbook series. Each series is created by an author responding to the world in their own unique way—through care, clarity, and meaningful storytelling. It is a weaving of voices speaking to the world.
Because each book series is a thread responding to the world, and together they form a collective weaving—voices held side by side through intention and care.
Each book featured in Tapestries may contain up to 21 perspectives written by a single author. This ensures the work remains focused, cohesive, and easy for readers to follow. Authors may include fewer than 21, but not more.
Yes. Authors may request to have their books featured in Tapestries. To do so, send three or more digital copies to forigp.submissions@gmail.com. Remember, each book must contain 21 perspectives or fewer, written by a single author.
This review is not for selling your books unless you request it separately. It helps us understand whether your work aligns with Tapestries’ focus on peace, social issues, world solutions, and earth-related concerns.
You retain full ownership, full control, and all rights to your work.
Not exactly. Tapestries is curated. Authors decide when they want their work to be added and reach out when ready. We do not invite authors, and there is no open call. Each inclusion begins with the author’s request.
We look for works rooted in sincerity, clarity of voice, emotional integrity, and a genuine desire to address meaningful themes. Books must align with the guiding values of peace, care, and responsible storytelling. We do not accept works that promote harm, conflict, or division.
No. When you send digital copies (three or more), they are provided only for review so we can determine whether the work fits the Tapestries shelf. Sending files does not transfer ownership, rights, or sales to IGP.
We read them for curation. We do not host, distribute, or sell your files unless you explicitly agree to a separate arrangement (for example, listing via IGPBookstore). If you request an IGPBookstore listing, that is handled separately and only with your permission.
No. Your voice stays as it is. Tapestries does not reshape or alter your content. We only place your work within a series and link to your website or book pages as needed.
If your work aligns with the shelf, it will be placed into an existing chapbook series—or a new one will be created for it. We then link back to your chosen pages, website, or bookstore. The goal is to support authors whose themes resonate with the purpose of Tapestries.
You may share the themes you are writing within. Series titles and placement, however, are curated to maintain the coherence and integrity of the shelf.
No. Tapestries is open to any author whose work aligns with the shelf’s ethos, regardless of where or how they publish.
No. All sales remain with you. Tapestries simply hosts the series that contains your books and links outward to your preferred platforms.
No. Tapestries is free to join, provided your work aligns with the shelf.
Yes. You may request to be unfeatured at any time. Since Tapestries is a free promotional feature you requested, most authors prefer to remain listed. However, if your situation changes, we will remove your listing with care.
Please note: Because the process is currently handled manually, we may not be able to feature the same books again if you change your mind later. In the future, once this becomes automated, you will be free to add or remove your books whenever you wish.
Together, these series form a warm tapestry of voices—threads of insight, care, and reflection that invite connection, understanding, and hope.
