Plants are Ink Gladiators Press’ first creative seedlings—early longform, collaborative anthologies gathered between 2020 and 2021. They became the foundation for all later community and publishing work.

They grew from community challenges, contests, and prompts hosted by Our Earthians Community Group. These anthologies captured voices responding to their times—stories of courage, rhythm, and collective meaning.

No. Submissions are closed, but these anthologies remain preserved in IGP’s living archive—a tribute to the roots of our creative journey.

Because plants are resilient. They adapt, stretch toward light, and grow through stone. Our first anthologies were “Plants” because they marked the beginning of something living—works created in real time, in response to real life.

The series began with Capsized: The Pandemic Lockdown, followed by The Fall and Rise of Chimeras and The 2021 Form Runners and Inventors Collection. Each captures moments of resilience, introspection, and creative experimentation.

Together, these three volumes form the Challenge Collection Trilogy—the original Plants that seeded IGP’s collaborative spirit. They have been preserved within the Greenhouses Bookshelf as part of our creative continuum.

Seeds are seasonals that carry beginnings without growing into a full Plant. They can be words, reflections, stories, folklore, collaborations, or art. Seeds are chosen with intention, ensuring the shelf remains meaningful, gentle, and aligned with IGP’s heart.

Plants were early, fully formed anthologies requiring growth, depth, and nurturing. Seeds are seasonal and spontaneous—they appear naturally, without needing a theme, season, or long-term development. Seeds are not meant to become Plants; they simply exist.

Seeds are introduced through occasional open calls. Writers, artists, and creatives will be invited to submit whenever a new Seed anthology is announced. Each submission period is carefully curated to ensure the shelf remains meaningful, gentle, and aligned with IGP’s heart.

All contributors retain full rights to their work. You’re free to revise, republish, or share your pieces elsewhere. IGP preserves the anthology versions as part of its archive.
